How to Use This Tool:

1. Room Dimensions
   Enter the width, length, and height of the room to calculate total wall and ceiling area.
2. Doors and Windows
   Input the number of doors and windows to subtract their surface area from the total.
3. Paint Coverage
   Paint coverage may vary depending on the brand. Check the label on the paint can for exact coverage details. As a general guide:
   • Interior paint: 300–400 sq ft per gallon
   • Primer: 200–350 sq ft per gallon

Coat Recommendations:

• The calculator assumes two coats of paint.
• If you’re repainting the same color, one coat may be enough.
• For a new color or dramatic change, you may need more than two coats .
• Textured walls, dark colors, or porous surfaces typically require additional paint.
